Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I am running as a Democrat for Judge and am ready to take my seventeen years of litigation experience in employment, labor, civil rights and contract law disputes - including both federal and state court litigation - to the bench. I have a long history of community involvement and recognize that our justice system needs to treat everyone equally and with respect.

During my tenure with the Office of the Cook County State’s Attorney, I was extremely fortunate to gain tremendous professional experience. The Labor & Employment Litigation Unit of the Civil Actions Bureau of the State’s Attorney’s Office defends all elected Cook County officials, County Offices, the Cook County Health and Hospitals System as well as individually named defendants in employment litigation.

I was afforded the opportunity to practice extensively in both federal and state court and defend matters filed before the Illinois Labor Relations Board, the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the Cook County Employee Appeals Board, and the Cook County Sheriff’s Merit Board.

We handled our appellate practice in house and I argued cases before both the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. During my years as a Supervisor in the State’s Attorney’s Office, I enjoyed mentoring the Assistant State’s Attorneys in my Unit and developing litigation strategy for civil cases. My professional experience with the State’s Attorney’s Office prepared me for my desired role in the judiciary. I have spent the majority of my professional career in public service on behalf of Cook County and I am ready to take that experience to the bench.

Every bar association that has evaluated my credentials has found me “Highly Recommended,” “Recommended” or “Qualified” to be a Circuit Court Judge. Please take time to review my bar ratings and credentials.

I was born in Chicago and I also attended college and law school in Chicago. My husband, John, and I have been married for fifteen years and we have two sons. We live in Glenview and are members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Judges make decisions daily that can impact an individual’s family, financial security, home, and freedom. I look forward to earning your trust, faith and support on March 17, 2020.

Thank you.

Judge Patricia M. Fallon
